Wet n Wild Mega Last Matte Lip Cover in Cherry Picking (965) | Swatches, Review, Photos
10:35 AM
This 4-hour, longwearing lip color leaves a semi-matte, crème finish in one stroke. Glides on easily with rich, velvety color that doesn't cake, feather, or bleed.
Wet n Wild Mega Last Matte Lip Cover in Cherry Picking (965) can be described as mainly blue-based red-pink raspberry color.
It may be a red or a pink depending on lighting conditions and is a good middle ground for those looking for a not-so-red lipstick. This is a very pretty and unique color to wear with some nude eyes.
As with the other Wet n Wild Mega Last lipsticks I have reviewed before, this one also applied satiny (with a bit of shine, no shimmer), very opaque, heavily pigmented and has a semi-matte finish.
The color is buildable and I didn't have any trouble packing it in. You can apply once or twice for a sheer look or add more coats for impact and drama.
This can be a very dramatic look so tread with caution. While it is a very pretty color, it can be an overwhelming color for casual wear or daytime. You can blot some of the color away for a stained, matte effect to achieve a subtler look.
Overall: Wet n Wild Mega Last Matte Lip Cover in Cherry Picking (965) is a great lippie if you want that extra umph in your look. The color is beautifully saturated, and the creamy formula doesn't leave lips feeling dry. It's long-lasting, with no feathering issue. The quality vs price ratio would definitely make Wet n Wild's Cherry Picking in your Must Buy list.
*Wet n Wild Mega Last Matte Lip Cover in Cherry Picking is said to be a dupe for MAC's Love Goddess
