Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick in Toffee Cream

Alas, when I got home and tried it on my lips, it's true colors showed. I was disappointed because it showed up more of a peach on me rather than more of a  brown that I actually wanted.
Above: Swatches on my NC 25 arm. The color swatch without the flash shows a brown-er tone; with flash, the peachiness really shows. I wouldn't mind a nude lip with some hint of peach on it but the lip swatch below shows that the brown totally disappeared on my pigmented lips, so I'm left with a coral-ly color that can't be considered nude anymore.
This lipstick is not a total fail though. It's a great lipstick formula-wise since it applied smooth and satiny. It certainly lived up to its "Moisture Extreme" claim. The color payoff is great and very opaque, and applied very consistent. There were no dry patches and it didn't settle on lines.
Overall: While Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick in Toffee Cream's color is not my cup of tea, some people may consider this as their perfect nude lipstick. With great color payoff and very moisturizing formula, this is a great lipstick to try for anybody looking for a nude-y everyday color.
