Wet n Wild's Mega Last Lipstick in Cherry Bomb (918d) can be described as deep, dark wine red.

As with the other lippies in the Wet Wild's Mega Last line I have reviewed previosly, this one also has a creamy texture, very opaque and highly pigmented and applies semi-matte.

Cherry Bomb came out a bit more drying compared to the four Wet n Wild Lipsticks I have. This maybe due to the bold pigmentation of the lipstick. However, it's a small problem any decent lip balm can solve.

One pro of this lipstick is the semi-matte finish (love!), which results to decent staying power of up to 4/5 hours. This does not however stay as long as MAC lipsticks which can survive several meals and drinks

I'm not sure if I can actually pull off this very dark lipstick look. This is borderline vampy and goth for me - ala Elvira, Mistress of the Dark.

I also don't believe that this can be an everyday look, especially for those working girls out there. This is perfect though for nights out and those cold, gloomy autumn/fall weather. This can also be a great kick-ass holiday look as long as you keep everything else simple.

Rocking your dark lipstick

As examples above, you can go different ways in rocking your dark lipstick: minimal eye and face makeup with some added cat-eye sassy-ness would be my go-to rule.

Overall: Wet N Wild Mega Last Matte Lipsticks give you good quality for good price. This truly is a great beauty find. I'm glad that I got to try these out. I was also able to sample lip colors that are normally out of my radar. If there ever is a con for these lippies is that their packaging. The tube is a bit flimsy and some don't even close properly. The lipstick also tends to smear on the sides because you won't be able to make the tube twist down after you twist them up. This won't stop me from buying more Mega Last lipsticks though - the quality and price just beats any higher-priced competition. Also, keep in mind that "wet n wild never has and never will test on animals."
