Last Hurrah for Summah at Campuestohan Highland Resort
1:16 PM
Campuestohan Highland Resort, the perfect summer getaway in Talisay City has upped the ante. In fact, it is now proudly setting the trend on how summer resorts should be in Bacolod City and the rest of Negros Occidental. Long known for its cool and refreshing atmosphere, the resort is truly a haven for those seeking refuge from the blistering heat of towns and cities below it, such as Silay, Bago, Murcia, Pulupandan, Valladolid, La Carlota, and many other locales surrounding the resort.
The Resort is very picturesque, with lots of places to freely walk around and smell the fresh air. The downside of going their during peak summer season is that there are lots of people. All the cottages were occupied while their overnight accommodations were also fully-booked. On the upside, Campuestohan has enough open spaces that even with a lot of people around, you would not be ovewhelmed by them.
For those truly looking for a quiet and serene summer getaway, this would not be the place. During the day, the resort is teeming with children and adults during various forms of entertainment and activities. Swimming pools, a zipline, a bike "zipline", obstacle course and some rides are there for everyone to enjoy. The area was less crowded at night, with people starting to trickle down starting 6 pm onwards. I would imagine that it would be more relaxing to just stroll and enjoy the summer during nighttime as there would be virtually no people to bother you.
