NYX Round Lipstick in Spellbound is one of my first lipstick from NYX and also one of my fave pinks. As with all NYX Round lippies, this one is also creamy with good pigmentation. Spellbound can be described as a pinkish watermelon red with a slight warm undertone. NYX's website describes it as magenta with a cream finish. Under normal lighting, the swatch on my NC 25 arms above is quite accurate. The color applies very opaque and leans more on being pink on my lips. On darker lighting, it can appear somewhat pink-red. (Note: This color actually looks a lot like what Jennifer Lopez wore in the video We Are One for the World Cup 2014 video. Although it's less likely that she'll be wearing NYX, this would be a good dupe if you want to copy her look).

I think this can suite fair to dark-skinned gals and would look great on a variety of skin tones as this is neither too dark nor too light. The color instantly brightens the face without that "neony" effect you get from very bright-colored lipsticks.

Overall, NYX Spellbound is just a beautiful color to wear, especially for the sunny weather. This works best paired with minimal eye makeup and light pink flush on the cheeks.

NYX Round Lipstick in Spellbound is very creamy, with good pigmentation and have average wear. This can last 2-3 hours on the lips before you need to re-apply. The color wears out evenly. For those who prefer a more subtle look, they can blot it a little for that stained effect. At just a little over Php 120, this would be a great color to try out.
