Wet N Wild Mega Last Matte Lip Color in Sugar Plum Fairy (908C) | Review, Swatches, Photos
2:25 PM
This 4-hour, longwearing lip color leaves a semi-matte, creme finish in one stroke. Glides on easily with rich, velvety color that doesn't cake, feather, or bleed. Made with hydrating skin-care ingredients: Hyaluronic Microspheres provide extraordinary adhesion to lips, an exclusive polymer complex offers cushion-like feel and texture, and natural marine plant extracts Coenzyme Q10 and Vitamins A & E help smooth lips.
When applied, this registers as a darker shade of berry with blue undertones. Normally, I wouldn't dare to wear this color but darker tones are the rage nowadays so I decided to try this out.

As with several lipsticks in Wet n Wild's Mega Last line, Sugar Plum Fairy offers a very smooth and opaque formula. Application was fairly easy and a couple of swipes on the lips is enough to to give you good pigmentation.
As this is a richer color, the matte formula is more forgiving on the lips. It easily hides flakiness and imperfections.
Of course, prepping your lips with a balm and scrub is still recommended to give you a more refined look. It would also be great if you could line your lips before hand as this dark color can bleed and stain.
*Wet N Wild Mega Last Matte Lip Cover in Sugar Plum Fairy is a very popular and pretty close dupe of Mac's best-selling Rebel lipstick.
Check out my reviews of other Wet n Wild Mega Last Lipsticks: Stoplight Red, Cherry Picking, Cherry Bomb, 24 Carrot Gold, Just Peachy, In the Flesh, Bare It All, Think Pink, Coraline, Sweet Cream, and Bordeaux Boulevard.

Lip Swatch: Wet N Wild Mega Last Matte Lip Color in Sugar Plum Fairy (908C)
This shade can be described as
"deep plum." The color actually looks darker on the tube than on my skin and lips. When applied, this registers as a darker shade of berry with blue undertones. Normally, I wouldn't dare to wear this color but darker tones are the rage nowadays so I decided to try this out.

Overall: Wet N Wild Mega Last Matte Lip Color in Sugar Plum Fairy (908C) can be a daring color to wear - definitely not for the faint of heart. This would be perfect to wear for evening or holiday seasons. A very rich and substantial lip color such as this also calls for substantial clothing and rich luxurious fabrics. A simple rule to follow when wearing bold lip colors is to keep your face bare; black eyeliner optional.*Wet N Wild Mega Last Matte Lip Cover in Sugar Plum Fairy is a very popular and pretty close dupe of Mac's best-selling Rebel lipstick.
