I got this lipstick from Sample Room (Click link for in-depth review of the site). The sample lipstick is free but I have to pay for the Php 120 postage which is not bad if you consider it the price for one tube of lipstick.

On to the product review, Colour Collection Lip Perfection Lipstick in Crema can be described as a peachy pink color with warm, yellow undertones.

At first glance, I was a bit wary of the color as peaches and corals tend to turn neon on me. Thankfully, although the color is not entirely unique, it is sheer enough that it registered as a nude peachy-pink on my lips.

I wasn't a fan of the creamy and shiny finish of this lipstick. I guess I have gotten used to my mattes that this felt uncomfortable on my lips. It's what I call the "lipstick feel" where it's like you've eaten or drank something oily and you're left with very sticky and shiny lips after. My lips felt heavy and icky. Those who prefer a creamy and satin finish with their lipsticks would probably prefer this, but I don't.

It's not all negative for this lipstick though. As seen from the lip swatch above, the infused Argan Oil did provide a lot of moisture on my lips. Lines and imperfections were less visible and you're left with juicy-looking lips.

Crema's pigmentation was average with as much as 2 or 3 swipes needed to achieve a somewhat-opaque finish. This in turn added to the "heaviness" of the lipstick, another con on my list. Wear time was also average at 2-3 hours, after that, the lipstick began to fade and some color settled on lines. The slippery texture would also mean that some transfer of the color can be expected.

Overall: Colour Collection Lip Perfection Lipstick in Crema provides a flattering, nudish peachy pink look, perfect for everyday errands and casual occasions. It delivered a somewhat average performance in terms of pigmentation and wear-time. Matte lovers would hate the sticky and oily finish this provides while those looking for moisturization would love how this lipstick plumps up and smoothens your lips.
