Wet n Wild Mega Last Lip Color in Bare It All (902C)
I have another Wet n Wild Mega Last Lip Color lipstick for you all today, this time its Bare It All (902C). This is part of my haul I featured about a week ago. These lippies from Wet n Wild are just my favorites!
Wet n Wild Mega Last Lip Color in Bare It All
Wet n Wild Mega Last Lip Color in Bare It All (902C) can be described as a light/medium pink-toned brown nude with warm undertones. Like previous Wet n Wild Mega Last lipsticks I've reviewed, this one also has a semi-matte finish.
Left: No Flash, Right: With Flash
The color is very pretty and subtle. For me, it's the perfect pink nude that I have been looking for. It hits the right balance of being not too pink and not too brown, with little to no hint of peach at all.
Swatched on NC25 skin: Wet n Wild Mega Last Lip Color in Bare It All
The color swatched true when I applied it to my lips. It's a neutral tone that can be perfect nude for a wide range of skin color, maybe around the range of NC 20 and up.
Bare It All is a light color but it applied very pigmented and opaque. It covered my lips with just one swipe.
I have moisturized my lips with lip balm before application so it went on smooth and creamy. You can see a bit of flaking but that's due to my very dry lips, thanks to the cold, rainy weather. Since this is a matte formula, it can be very drying so I would suggest using a balm before application or a gloss after.
Left: No Flash, Right: With Flash
Overall: Wet n Wild Mega Last Lip Color in Bare It All (902C) follows the footsteps of its other siblings. It's a neutral pink-brown color that would be a my-lips-but-better lipstick for many people. This applied creamy and smooth despite its semi-matte formula. The color is very opaque with no observable patchiness. People who prefer some moisturization would need to wear a balm underneath or a gloss over it.

Update: For some comparison (and to answer Melle C's question), I have swatched three lipsticks for you. These are nude-y lipsticks which looks pretty similar. The subtle shade difference don't really translate on the lips, so they look almost the same. :)

  2. Hey! I've noticed that Wet n Wild's Bare it All and Revlon's mauve it over are very similar! Which lipstick do you like better, Revlon's or Wet n Wild's? Is one lipstick more drying than the other? More pigmented and creamier?
I was gonna buy either of the two and I've been thinking about which one to buy and I wanted to know your thoughts!

    1. Yes, Both look very similar. Here are my thoughts: Bare It All leans a bit more pink, creamier so it applies smoother and more pigmented. Mauve It Over leans more peach, felt lighter on the lips (less of that greasy feeling), more drying but lasts longer on me.

I honestly can't decide which one I like better because I alternate between the two for low-key makeup days. You can check out another post: http://www.jellobeans.com/2014/11/cover-girl-lip-perfection-lipstick-delish-review-swatch.html
I have swatched similar looking lipsticks at the end. Hope that helps! :)

    2. Thanks for the suggestion! Your link really helped me out. I just found out that Revlon's Mauve it Over has been discontinued and I think the Covergirl in Delish can be a good alternative since leans more to peach than pink and it doesn't look too shiny. Plus my lips tend to get dry a lot so the lipstick looks promising.
