Products for the Face |
Skinfood Banana Concealer Stick #1 Light - I use this mainly to conceal blemishes and dark spots. I find this a tad dry to use under the eyes so I use my fingers to warm it up before applying.
Naturactor Coverface Concealer - This is very creamy so this is perfect for my under eyes as it instantly brightens my eyes and corrects any discoloration.
Rimmel London Natural Bronzer in Sun Glow (025) - A natural-looking bronzer that I use sparingly on my cheekbones and the high points of my face (sides of forehead, along the bridge of my nose, chin).

NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Black Bean - This is a cult product that's very easy and versatile to use. Perfect as a base for your eye shadows. I just wish this is easier to sharpen. I haven't actually sharpened this because I can't figure out the proper way how.
IN2IT Supreme Waterproof Eyeliner (All Black) - Very pigmented, essentially smudge- and water-proof. Stays on my lids for the whole day without causing the dreaded "panda eyes."
Maybelline Define-A-Lash Volume Mascara - Adds definition and length to my puny, straight-as-a-ruler eyelashes.
Etude House Drawing Eyebrow Pencil in Gray - A very natural looking pencil that's perfect in shaping and filling in my brows. Comes with an eye brow brush.
Lips:
Wet n Wild Mega Last Lip Color in Bare It All - My everyday lipstick. This is the perfect nude lipstick for me - the perfect balance of pink-brown that lends enough color to my face. It's so cheap I don't have to feel guilty using this everyday.
Quick and Easy Smokey Eyes How To:
Doing a smokey eye look for my hooded, Asian eyes has been a challenge. I have been trolling You Tube looking for tutorial videos on how to do this particular look. I think I am getting the hang of this, just need some more practice. Thankfully, my attempt on this look turned out to be OK. Here's my Quick and Easy Smokey Eyes:
1. Apply NYX Black Bean all over lids. Don't worry about making it look perfect.
2. Blend color on the lids using a fluffy eyeshadow brush.
3. Using Bliss (from Stila In the Light palette), blend out the black eyeshadow.
4. Apply Sandstone (from Stila In the Light palette) on your crease.
5. Blend, blend, blend some more!
6. Line your upper and lower eyelids using a black eyeliner.
7. Go over the black liner with Sandstone using a smudger brush.
8. Curl lashes and apply mascara
9. Optional: Add a smidgen of highlighter (I used Kitten) on inner corner of eyes.
10. Done! Bat eyelashes and strike pose.
