I have for you today items I got from Beauty.com and Drugstore.com. You can order from both sites under one cart, with US shipping free for purchases $35 and above. These are products that I have been wanting to try for the longest time:
Smashbox Try It Kit: BB + Halo, Light |
Includes:
- BB Cream: The 5-in-1 game-changer that primes, perfects, protects, hydrates and controls oil
- Halo Hydrating Perfecting Powder: A revolutionary perfecting powder that dramatically minimizes the signs of aging
- Photo Finish Foundation Primer: Makeup always looks better with our legendary, award-winning primer
- Baby buki brush
Lorac Skinny Palette in Navy |
Real Techniques by Sam & Nic Chapman Core Collection |
This Kit Includes:
- Detailer Brush: precision cut to effortlessly conceal problem areas; or, use with lipstick for long lasting shape and definition
- Pointed Foundation Brush: use with liquid foundation to build custom coverage
- Buffing Brush: ideal for full coverage application of powder and mineral foundation
- Contour Brush: delicately applies highlighter to contour or create sheer, soft-focus finish
- Panoramic Case: dual carrier and stand keeps brushes organized on your counter or on the go
First Impressions: I got these beauties last week and have used them fairly but still not enough for a full review. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with everything I got. The brushes are what I expected them to be: soft and functional for everyday use. I used the Lorac palette for a night out and so far so good. The Smashbox Kit is my favorite out of the three in this beauty haul. The BB cream and powder perform exceptionally well in controlling my oiliness. Full reviews will be up in the coming week or so. Stay safe everyone.
*In case you are all wondering how I got these, I ordered them through a group buy. A bunch of us pitch in for an air cargo through LBC (this includes sales tax, international shipping fee, and local shipping from Manila to Iloilo City). I think this cheaper than buying from resellers here in the Philippines which pad their prices, sometimes twice the item's value.
