Hey guys! We're at Day 2 of my Lipstick Week and I have Cover Girl Lip Perfection Lipstick in 255 Delish. I know this one came a bit late in the day but I've been preoccupied so I'm rushing this in to make the deadline! :)

Cover Girl Lip Perfection Lipstick in 255 Delish

Delish can be described as medium peach nude with warm undertones. It swatched smooth and opaque on my hands. A subtle shine can be observed but no shimmers.
Cover Girl Lip Perfection claims to make your lips “soft, smooth, [and] beautiful” within seven days. It also says that "in a single stroke, lips are enhanced with rich, rewarding color.”

Lip Swatch: Cover Girl Lip Perfection Lipstick in 255 Delish

On my lips, this registered more of a peach-coral but still can be considered as a nude. I love the color because it's not overly peachy-neon on me. It delivered opaque coverage with only one layer. Cover Girl did deliver on its claims of rich color, and just one layer does the job.
Application was smooth. This lipstick made my lips look perfect, even though its not. There were no patchiness and it did not settle on lines. Texture was a bit heavy for my liking but not to the point of it being uncomfortable. I guess for it to be "moisturizing" it needs to be creamy and have a bit of "give."
There was no discernible scent to this. This lasted 4 hours on me through a light meal and a snack, wearing off evenly.
Overall: Cover Girl Lip Perfection Lipstick in 255 Delish delivered on its promise of opaque, and vibrant color with just a single layer. It applied smoothly, covering up imperfections and patchiness splendidly. This thicker consistency took a bit of getting used to but was not completely uncomfortable. It provided some moisturization but I can't vouch for its claim of giving me beautiful lips in 7 days because I've only tired this on twice. I really do like this lipstick - smooth, creamy, full, vibrant color, with average wear. With more than 40 shades to choose from the line, I'm sure you would find one that you'll like.
