Hey guys. Happy weekend to everyone. I'm sharing with you my recent hair care discovery. While I wanted to try out dry shampoos in the past, I never really got to buying because they are not readily available and I was clueless as to what products are good. I was eyeing this (always sold out) dry shampoo from Made by David Organics and I finally got to getting it when it went on sale on beautyMNL.

This organic dry shampoo is very affordable at only Php 250 (sale price Php199) for 120 ml of product. The smell is pleasantly divine - fresh, citrusy and unobtrusive.

How to use:  Shake out a small amount onto scalp. Massage into hair to absorb dirt and oil. Use as often as needed.

I road tested this dry shampoo for three days to see how effective it is. Imagine not washing your hair for three days. Normally, I would have been horrified with the thought but with this dry shampoo, it wasn't so bad. *_*
Day One: Still feeling fresh and dandy. I dusted a small amount of powder onto my scalp and massaged it a bit so it can absorb the oils in my hair. This dry shampoo really smells so good.

Day Two: My hair is feels slightly oily but surprisingly not itchy. Normally, if I don't wash my hair by now, I will be scratching like hell. I massaged the dry shampoo on my scalp and dusted more all over my hair. My hair actually looks nice, soft and bouncy.

Day Three: This is new territory. I've never not washed my hair this long. My scalp felt a little bit itchy when I woke up. I massaged more dry shampoo on my scalp to combat the itchiness and thankfully, I did feel better. My hair still looks great and surprisingly non-greasy.

Normally, my oily hair would not tolerate me being a slob. I survived three days of not washing my hair with the help of this dry shampoo. It absorbed the excess oil in my hair, kept it smelling fresh, lessen scalp itchiness and made it soft and manageable. This is a very handy product when you are in a rush or traveling. The packaging is a bit problematic as it can't dispensed powder through the tiny holes so I have to twist off the cap. I don't mind though because what's inside is what's important. If you're looking for an effective, affordable and safe (organic) dry shampoo, this comes highly recommended.
