Happy Monday guys. It's another start of the week which brings a lot of possibilities for the next several days. Because of the intense, scorching heat, I haven't been wearing too much makeup lately. Nowadays, my beauty routine (after skin care) consist of primer, sunblock, BB cream or tinted moisturizer, eyebrows, water-, smudge- proof eyeliner, and maybe a bit of lip/cheek tint. I'm really more focused in keeping my skin moisturized and protected throughout the day.

I featured Missha's Perfect Cover BB Cream in my recent Althea Korea haul a few weeks ago and I'm now ready to share my experience with you all. This BB cream is one of Missha's best-selling product and has been a cult favorite with a lot of beauty experts. I know am really late in the game as this would be my first Missha BB cream but better late than never, right? *_*

The BB cream comes in a plastic tube with pump dispenser. The packaging is very handy and works well as you can actually control the amount going out of the tube. For this range, you have five shade choices - #13 Milky Beige, #21 Light Beige, #23 Natural Beige, #27 Honey Beige #31 Golden Beige - which is quite good for an Asian BB cream.

I got the shade #21 Light Beige, a tad lighter than my NC20/25 skin tone but otherwise a good match and works well after it's absorbed and oxidizes.I like that this isn't too grey and have a fair amount of yellow undertones.

Coverage is light to medium but I think that since this is a "drier" formula you can build up and layer to get a full coverage. I only use a pump to cover my whole face. This gave me a light/medium coverage but it was still able to smooth out my complexion and neutralize some of the red in my skin. I didn't use any concealer in the photos and as you can see, it's done a good job of evening out my skin.

As stated, the formula is drier which needs a bit of warming up on my hands so it can be spread easily. The texture is light and my skin can breathe through this. It feels very comfortable on. This wore wear as well, up to four hours despite the very hot and humid weather. My face stayed oil- and grease-free well into the five-hour mark. Everything stayed in place and looked fresh through dirt and sweat.

The one thing that I didn't like about this BB cream is the smell which was really apparent when I first opened the tube. It has a sweet, powdery scent that's a bit cloying for me. The smell dissipated after a few days and I barely notice it now even when applying it. Another thing to note for this BB cream is that it contains mineral oil and two kinds of parabens. I'm still on the fence whether this would be a deal-breaker for me because I do like how this looks and feels.
