Hello guys. How are you all spending your week? Mine was basically uneventful but I did have a lot of fun testing out more makeup. This lipstick completes Maybelline's Brown Nudes line up - 655 Daringly Nude.

655 Daringly Nude can be described as a light peachy pink with warm undertones and a demi-matte finish (have a more matte finish). This shade kind of washes me out and maybe pulls more yellow out of my skin tone. I kind of think that I look sallow (and sickly) with this on. It certainly does make my complxion dull and does nothing to brighten up my face.

While I'm not liking the color on me, the pigmentation is still consistent with the rest of the shade in the Brown Nudes line up. Coverage is full and opaque with just a single layer. When I swatched it on my arms, it applied fairly evenly and smoothly. On my lips, this also applied smoothly due to its creamy texture.

I don't know what it was but I did notice that this shade tended to emphasize patches and settled a little bit along my lip lines. It' did not particularly apply patchy, but felt like the color was just sitting on top of my lips.

The color lasted around five hours and wasn't drying. The lipstick settled more on my lip lines as it wore off and I think it looked patchy after a couple of hours. It might just that this shade looked unflattering against my skin tone so the little imperfections were noticed more.
