Hey there guys. I have featured a Sneak Peek yesterday of the new shades of the Maybelline Color Sensational Creamy Matte Lipsticks. I will be featuring review of each over the course of this week so for those curious on how they fared, stay tuned. First up is the lightest shade from the Brown Nudes line: 650 Nude Embrace.

650 Nude Embrace can be described as a light-medium caramel taupey beige with slightly warm undertones and a satin-matte finish. This is a very light nude shade and can look concealer-ly on more olive skin tones. It almost washed me out but thanks to the slight taupey tones, it still worked on my skin tone. I actually like how this looks on me and would be perfect contrast when wearing a heavier eye look.

Despite the light color, this lipstick provided an opaque pigmentation. I only need a couple of layers to achieve full, opaque coverage.

On lips: Maybelline Color Sensational Creamy Matte Lipstick in 650 Nude Embrace

This lipstick applied evenly due to the velvety consistency. It has a creamy and satiny texture and glided without any hitch when applied on the lips. It took a bit of work and several passes to make it look even on my lips but for such a light shade, it's not so bad (I've encountered worse).

The lightweight formula felt very comfortable on the lips. Despite it being matte, I didn't feel like it sucked out all the moisture of my lips. Wear time is average, up to four hours before the color slowly settled along my lip lines and looked (kind of) patchy. At this point, I needed to reapply to make it look perfect again. I definitely didn't mind reapplying as I mostly do with any other lipstick.
