Maybelline Color Sensational Creamy Matte Lipsticks (Brown Nudes)

Hey guys. Friday, finally! This week seemed longer than usual as I was PMSing so bad these past few days. Thankfully, I have battled past the ordeal and survived. And to wrap things up this week, I have Maybelline's Color Sensational Creamy Matte Lipsticks Brown Nudes collection that I have been reviewing this past couple of weeks.

650 Nude Embrace can be described as a light-medium caramel taupey beige with slightly warm undertones and a satin-matte finish. I didn't expect to like this one but I actually do. This shade adds a hint of color without washing me out and this applied smoothly and evenly despite the light color.

655 Daringly Nude can be described as a light peachy pink with warm undertones and a demi-matte finish (have a more matte finish). This shade made me look sallow and washed me out so I'm not too keen with this one. Also noticed some settling along my lip lines as this wore off.

656 Clay Crush can be described as a medium peachy brown nude with warm undertones and a semi-matte finish. Also one of my favorite shades. Texture and formula is also great. 

657 Nude Nuance is a medium-dark brown with some hint of terracotta in it. It has warm undertones and a matte finish (it's less satiny than the rest of the shades). This shade can look orange-y on me but still a good understated brown and can be very flattering on so many skin tones. I just don't personally like this on me. Texture and formula is also good.

696 Burgundy Blush is a deep brownish red burgundy with warm undertones and a satin finish.Not really a nude as this is very dark on me. Still a good option for those with darker skin tones. Applied smoothly but needed two layers to achieve an even coverage.

660 Touch of Spice is a medium-deep rosy mauve plum with warm undertones. It is very natural-looking rosey nude and looks very flattering on most skin tones. This also have a smooth, even texture, very pigmented and wore well without drying out the lips.

Overall, these lipsticks have smooth and even texture with opaque pigmentation which only required a single layer for full coverage. The creamy yet lightweight, non-sticky formula felt very comfortable on the lips and applied with no patchiness. The color lasted for at least four hours, wearing off almost evenly with minimal settling for some shades.
