Hi everyone. Happy Monday to all. Let's kick off the week with another lip product review, one which has been generating beauty buzz for awhile now. Today's product review is from Vice Cosmetics, the brainchild of Filipino celebrity, Vice Ganda:

So the brand's tagline is "ganda for all" which means "beauty for all" and true to this, their products are affordable and very accessible to the masses. That does mean not though that they lack quality. I have swatched and tested a lot of their lip products in store and found their quality to be up par with at least the drugstore brands. Although I don't really need another lip product as I am set for this lifetime, I caved and bought one of their latest lip and cheek tint to test.

Vice Cosmetics Lip and Cheek Tint line offers 8 shades, and I have Chozzz, described as " warm red on fair skin, and a muted warm red on medium to deep skin."

Chozzz a vibrant medium pinky-red with blue undertones and sheer finish. The water-based tint has a doe foot applicator which function well in applying the product smoothly. It has gel-like consistency that's not too runny so I can actually spread the tint on my lips and cheeks and not have it drip off. Since this is a tint, pigmentation can be expected to be subtle and sheer, but the color can be built up to a semi-opaque coverage.

The formula is lightweight and very comfortable on the lips and doesn't feel sticky. Unlike most lip tints that I have tried, the color didn't settle into my lip lines. I find it better as a lip product because the moisture on my lips enabled it to be spread evenly and be more blendable. On my cheeks, it has a tendency to be streaky if I don't work quickly to blend it out.

The pinky-red tint lasted for about 4 hours on my lips, and after that faded into a pink stain somewhat evenly for another 4 hours. On my cheeks, the main color lasted up to 5 hours. At the end of the day, there was still a hint of stain left both on my cheeks and lips.

The product product was neither drying nor hydrating and you need to prep you lips so you can get an even application. This was a hint of sweet fruity smell to the tint, but I didn't mind because it disappeared after awhile.
