I like that this 4-piece set is actually value for money. Normally, 8 mask pods would cost around Php 2900 (Php 362 per pod) but the Multi Mask 3-mask pod set only costs Php 840 (Php 280 per pod), which aside from being cheaper, also give you the opportunity to try other types of masks. You also get a good mask brush. Economics aside, this brown sugar mask is also made of natural ingredients - free of sulfates, phthalates and parabens.
When I first opened the mask, I detected a sweet and sugary smell, more of a honey-molasses kind which is pleasant and not too strong. I used the included brush to spread a good amount of the mask on my face. It was spreadable and felt sticky, but not uncomfortable.
I left it on for 10 minutes (the recommended time is 3-5 minutes) because I wanted all the skin-loving ingredients to do its work longer. I didn't feel any stinging nor any itchiness when the mask was on. After 10 minutes, using my wet hands, I then gently massaged it in on my face. I was really careful to not rub too much because the sugar granules are quite grainy so it did hurt when I tried to massage with some force.
This brown sugar mask left my skin feeling very soft, bouncy and supple. I didn't get the squeaky clean feel after I rinse it off. My skin looked brighter and smoother, though it was not able to get rid of some tiny blackheads on my nose. I felt that my skin was significantly moisturized and hydrated.
