Pink Sugar Sugar Tint Lip and Cheek Tint in Code Red |
Happy Monday everyone. Hope you are all inspired to take on the new week with gusto. I'm starting off this week on a good note with another product review. This is another shade from the Pink Sugar's Sugar Tint Lip and Cheek Tint line. For today, I have a classic red called Code Red.

The packaging is the same for both
Sugar Rush and Code Red. It comes in plastic twist up tube with a long doe-foot applicator. It was
easy for me to use the applicator to apply the tint on my lips and
cheeks.

Code Red is a bright, medium classic red with blue undertones and a true matte finish. As a lipstick, this shade of red is classic and flattering on most skin tones. You can never go
wrong with red lipstick so this color choice was a no-brainer. This
color is wearable despite looking bright in the tube. As a blush, the very bright color might be intimidating so a very light hand is needed when applying on the cheeks.

This lip tint applied smoothly and evenly on my lips. It delivered full and opaque coverage with only a single swipe. This had the same issue with Sugar Rush - this lip tint emphasizes lip lines and flaked a few hours on because of the flat matte finish. Your lips would need a
good amount of prep and lip balm for moisturization before applying this
product so you can avoid emphasizing any cracks or peeling on your
lips.

The mousse-like consistency allowed me to apply this tint on my cheek evenly and smoothly. This
dries very fast though, so you need to work fast in spreading out the
color on your cheeks. More importantly, because of the full pigmentation and bight color, you need to be carefull in applying only a tiny amount.
I have pretty oily skin and also moisturize before
any makeup application so blending the product was easier. For drier
skins, you will need to moisturize well so you can get a smooth
application. I would also suggest applying in layers so you can control
and
build the intensity of the blush to avoid the dreaded clown face.

FOTD: Pink Sugar Sugar Tint Lip and Cheek Tint in Code Red |
Code Red felt lightweight both on the lips and cheeks. And once it
dries, it's virtually budge-proof. It lasted a long time. On my lips, up
to seven hours, provided you don't eat any oily food. On my cheeks, the
color stayed up to eight hours. The main reason why I am not using both Sugar Rush and Code Red is because of the smell. The heavy fragrance stays and irritates my nose to the
