Hello everyone. I'm back with another product review from my old drafts. I have bought this lip and cheek tint over a year ago and featured it in a Sneak Peek (Sugar Rush). These tints from Pink Sugar are one of the best-selling products in beautyMNL and I was curious what the hype was all about.

This tint can be used both on the lips and cheeks as indicated from the name. The product comes in plastic twist up tube with a long doe-foot applicator. It was easy for me to use the applicator to apply the tint on my lips and cheeks.

Swatch: Pink Sugar Sugar Tint Lip and Cheek Tint in Sugar Rush

Sugar Rush is a medium nude mauve (with a hint of pink and purple) with blue undertones and a flat matte finish. The shade is reminiscent of Maybelline's Touch of Spice (Sugar Rush is darker). I gravitate towards these kind of colors as they complement my skin tone very well. This natural nude shade looks pretty both on the lips and cheeks.

On my lips, this lip tint applied smoothly and evenly, needing only a single layer to deliver full and opaque pigmentation. However, since it has flat matte finish, it tends to emphasize lip lines and flaked after it dried. It also felt very drying on my lips. Your lips would need a good amount of prep and lip balm for moisturization before applying this product so you can avoid emphasizing any cracks or peeling on your lips.

Sugar Rush applied better on my cheeks. The mousse-like consistency enabled me to spread the product on my cheeks evenly and relatively smoothly. This dries very fast though, so you need to work fast in spreading out the color on your cheeks. I have pretty oily skin and also moisturize before any makeup application so blending the product was easier. For drier skins, you will need to moisturize well so you can get a smooth application. I would also suggest applying in layers so you can control and build the intensity of the blush because this really is very pigmented.

This tint felt lightweight both on the lips and cheeks. And once it dries, it's virtually budge-proof. It lasted a long time. On my lips, up to six hours, provided you don't eat any oily food. On my cheeks, the color stayed up to eight hours.
