Hi there. Today's reviews features two similar products for the lips. First up is the Carenel Special Lip Care Lip Sleeping Mask. I bought this on sale (about Php 120+) on beautyMNL. I think this lip mask is a dupe of the popular cult product from Laneige but it's always out of stock so I bought this one first to try out.

Benefits: 
- Melts the dead skin cells on your lips while you're sleeping.
- Contains berry contents with a lots of Vitamin C.
- High-moisturizing, high-nourishment contents remains on your lips overnight.
- Refreshing feeling with a berry scent.

This mini size contains 5g of product and is packaged in a simple plastic twist up tub. I don't know if you get a spatula with the full-size version but for this one, I just use a cotton bud or clean fingers. Upon opening, I was greeted with a faint sweet fruity berry smell. It's not overpowering and disappears within minutes upon application so it was not a problem for my sensitive nose.

This mask has thick gel-cream texture. You only need a tiny amount for your lips because of the very emollient formula. If I use too much, I end up with uncomfortable and sticky lips so I always make sure to use just the right amount or less.

I massaged this on my lips and it spreads smoothly and all the dead skin comes off easily after a few minutes. The mask moisturizes and rejuvenates overnight. In the morning, my lips looks and feels soft and smooth. This has a similar function and formula to my go-to Rosebud Salve with this being more emollient vs the Rosebud. I would say you can also use this as an all-around skin salve. I do recommend this for those that have dry or flaky lips as it does a good job of nourishing it.
