Hello everyone. Let's get on right to today's review with Revlon's Colorstay Makeup. Due to a few hormonal blemishes, I have been using this foundation almost everyday for the past month. This makeup gives more coverage than a BB cream.

Revlon's black top and clear glass packaging looks similar to the MAC Studio Fix Fluid. Revlon already comes with a pump dispenser while you have to buy the MAC foundation pump. Adding to the similarities, both makeup also has SPF 15. I also appreciate that Revlon offers a wide shade range with this foundation - 43 shades to date (on their website).

150 Buff is described as light-medium with neutral, subtle light beige undertones. Buff swatched a bit lighter than my MAC NC 18/20 skintone but I do like how it looks on me. It brightened up my complexion and I didn't look washed out. Also, the foundation did not oxidize throughout the day.

Coverage is light-medium to full which is welcome change from my usual tinted moisturizer and BB creams. I have been needing more coverage lately due to hormonal blemishes that has popped up. It covered up most of my imperfections and evened out my skin tone. It was able to neutralize red patches and tone down my dark under eye circles.

While the coverage was good, it didn't feel heavy on the skin. It felt as light as the BB creams I've used and also felt very comfortable on. My skin is able to breathe through this. The texture feels smooth but you have to work quite fast when applying as it dries up fast. I also feel that I need to apply this makeup on top of a moisturizer so I can spread this out evenly.

Due to drier formula, this makeup is able to adhere more to the skin. You can also build up and layer this to get a full coverage. I only use a single pump to cover my whole face. It has done a good job of evening out my skin.

This dries to a matte and powdery finish which makes it resistant to my oily skin. It's also long-lasting and my face stayed oil-free well into the six-hour mark. Everything stayed in place and looked fresh through sweat and humidity.
