Benton Snail Bee High Content Essence

One of the first kbeauty skincare products that I have used and liked are those that contain snail essence. For a time, I have religiously used Mizon Snail Recovery Gel Cream which has been one of my HG products. I have since upgraded to more potent ones but I still go back to this from time to time. It's just one of those skincare that I know always works. (For some reason, I haven't gotten to reviewing
Mizon Snail Recovery Gel Cream).

Benton Snail Bee High Content Essence greatly reminds me of Mizon's snail gel. The essence comes in a dark brown plastic bottle with a pump dispenser. The packaging is convenient and hygienic so it would not be cumbersome to carry around. It also contains 60ml of product, which is generous and a good value for your money.

This has a lightweight gel texture that turns watery on contact with your skin. It feels cooling and absorbs readily. It feels virtually non-sticky and is much less sticky compared to the normal snail essences that I have tried in the past (looking at you Cosrx). You would only need one pump of the product to cover your whole face. 

The essence provides enough moisture for my oily-combination skin on normal days. In colder conditions or when my skin feels tight, I apply cream after this. Because it is lightweight, it layers well with other skincare. After application, my skin feels hydrated and smooth with improved texture and brightened complexion. This has a slightly dewy finish but not to the point that my face would look "glassy."

After two weeks of consistent use, I have noticed that some blemishes and hyperpigmentation have lightened. It pretty much has a similar effect with Mizon's snail essence. I also have seen some improvements in the look of my pores. It also helps heal small pimples and fade facial scars. This essence is also great for those with sensitive skin and can reduce redness and calm irritation.

Overall, Benton Snail Bee High Content Essence is a must-buy for those looking for lightweight, gentle skincare or moisturizer. It absorbs quickly and nourishes and hydrates the skin without it feeling sticky. It helps soothe sensitive skin, heals blemishes as well as lighten pigmentation. It also minimizes the look of pores and fine lines. It has improved my skin's texture and brightened my complexion. It layers well with makeup and other products so you can apply other skincare without it piling balling up. You also get a good amount of product for a reasonable price.
