Hi there everyone. Let's start the week right with the continuation of my toner reviews. Today, I have Skinfood Tea Tree PHA Daily Toner. I bought this one from Zalora Ph when they were having a fifty percent off discount so I bought quite a few. I have already finished one bottle so I'm sharing my thoughts on them. :)

Skinfood has been one of the first Korean beauty brands that I started my skincare with. Their products have been prevalent a few years back. With the emergence of other brands, they are not as popular anymore. Still, when I decide to buy new products from this brand, I find gems every now and then.

Skinfood Tea Tree PHA Daily Toner is one of those "hidden gems." This toner comes in a simple, clear plastic bottle with a beige twist-off cap. The bottle itself feels sturdy and the cap seals off nicely which is important if you travel with this. 

Through the transparent bottle, you can see the greenish-brown liquid toner, as well as the bits of tea tree leaves floating around. I'm not sure if the leaves actually do anything but it adds to the "natural" aesthetic of the product. It is certainly a nice detail. This also has a distinct tea tree scent that smells natural and unobtrusive.

This toner has a watery formula and a very lightweight texture that feels quite refreshing upon application. It's readily and quickly absorbed by the skin. On first use, it feels very soothing, non-stinging, and it didn't irritate any existing redness or inflammation on my skin. Because of that, I like to use this as part of a 7-Skin routine. This toner makes my skin feel supple, moisturized, and nourished. I also see a brighter complexion immediately after use.

After two weeks of daily use, I see noticeable improvements in my skin's texture and overall appearance. It helped heal some existing hormonal breakouts along my chin. I also feel that it helped calm some red patches on my face.

Personally, I like to put this toner on a cotton pad and apply it on areas (including neck, knees, elbows, and feet) that feel rough and irritated. I also transfer the toner to a spray bottle and use it as a facial mist. The high amount of tea tree extract in the formula helps with wound healing and inflammation. Additionally, the antiseptic properties of tea tree can also cleanse and eliminate bacteria and contaminants in the skin.
